Swimming, feeding and touching the giant turtles and the fish in the natural aquarium in Nungwi is sensational for anyone loving the experience of interacting with animals. This day our guide/driver will take you there and back when you feel ready to continue your Zanzibar holiday in Nungwi.
On our way to Jambiani we stop at the lush rainforest Jozani a hot-spot of biodiversity and stunning scenery. The rainforest is home to 3500 Red Columbus Monkeys, only found in Zanzibar. Other animals to be seen when walking the natural trails lined with eucalyptus and mahogany trees, is Blue Sykes Monkeys, elephant shrews and bush babies.
We suggest to take a loooong beach walk and stop for a fresh fruit jucie on the way.
